Ranchi, Jan 17: The first-ever flight from Deoghar to Ranchi is going to take off on February 17. After getting an official nod from DCGA, Indigo Airlines made this announcement.

A fare of Rs 2050 will be charged per seat on average but at the same time, it is subject to market- dynamics. The journey will be of an hour from Deoghar to Ranchi and vice-versa.

As scheduled, a 70-seater flight will take off from Ranchi airport around 3.20 pm and will land in Deoghar at around 4.15 pm, the same flight will take off from Deoghar airport around 4.45 pm and will reach Ranchi at 5.45 pm.

Talking to Lagatar24.com, the president of the builder association Santal Pargana said, “A flight in the daytime from Deoghar, would be a boon for those who need to attend an emergency call in Ranchi and who has to come back the same day.”

He compares it with other means of transportation like personal or private vehicles and founds that it takes at least six hours to reach Ranch. Sanjit Singh said, “comparatively opt flight is less costly in terms of money and time. Morning flights would cater not only needs of Deoghariya but also to other districts of Santhal Pargana and bordering districts of Bihar like Jamui and Bhgalpur.”

On the condition of not disclosing the name a senior official of Indigo has confirmed the scheduled issue. Although director of AAI posted at Deoghar Sandeep Dhingra has not confirmed.

Notably, some changes might take place as booking services from the official site of Indigo are missing today.
