Deoghar: Two-day BJP state working committee meeting begins today

Deoghar, Jan 23: After a gap of 17 years, a two-day BJP State Working Committee meeting will begin today at Mehar Garden in Deoghar. 

Notably, BJP’s state in-charge Laxmikat Vajpayee, organisation General Secretary Karmaveer Singh, Union Minister Arjun Munda, Annpurna Devi, Legislature Party leader Babulal Marandi, former Chief Minister Raghubar Das state President Deepak Prakash, along with State MP, MLA, District President, District In-charge, State Officer, and members of the State Working Committee will take part in the meeting.

Moreover, arrangements have been made for Union Ministers and former Chief Ministers in the circuit house. The preparations for the program were going on for days and the entire city has been decorated with party flags. 

The three toran gates near the venue have been dedicated to the late three local leaders of the party, Yamuna Tiwari, Dr Ajit Banerjee and Narsingh Pandit.

According to the District President cum Deoghar MLA, the two-day program will begin on January 23 with the meeting of state in-charges followed by district presidents of the party and in charge. In the session, a meeting of the state working committee will be held.
