Deputy Mayor and 33 councilors will go to the High Court against the state government

Those buildings located in the city which are built in the past, whose map has not been prepared, they are also being given notice. Due to this, the people of the city are living in an atmosphere of fear. According to them, the High Court has been asked to make the river, drains free from encroachment, but under the guise of this order, notice is being issued by the administration to demolish the previously built houses, whose map is not passed.

Ranchi: Councillors under the leadership of Deputy Mayor of Ranchi Municipal Corporation Sanjeev Vijayvargiya have started mobilizing against the encroachment campaign going on in many areas of the capital for the last several days. Now everyone will take refuge in the High Court against the campaign. This decision has been taken in a meeting held at the Deputy Mayor’s office. Total councillors were present in the meeting. Everyone says that for the last few days, the work of removing encroachment is being carried out by the district administration and corporation in Ranchi city. Now all the people will go to the High Court to regularize all the houses through PIL. Many voluntary organizations of the city along with deputy mayor, councillors, intellectuals will become petitioners.

The councillors present in the meeting, including the deputy mayor, say that there are many such houses in the city which are built on green land, special palace land and tribal land. The map of such houses cannot be passed. There are about 1.80 lakh such houses, which are in danger of being demolished.

They have asked the government whether the government will be able to break 1.80 lakh houses in Ranchi city. If not, then it is not appropriate to create such an atmosphere of fear. Everyone says that till now no guideline has been issued by the Jharkhand government to regularize the buildings built in the past. Due to this, the public representatives are bound to take refuge in the court.
