Dhanbad, March 11: Hundreds of Cong men would march for Ranchi from Dhanbad on Monday for the Rajbhawan gherao programme of the party. Jharkhand State Cong Committee vice-president Brajendra Prasad Singh said on Saturday that hundreds of party leaders and workers would go to Ranchi on March 13 from the coal belt region to participate in the gherao agitation of the party.
Cong workers would assemble at Morhabadi-based Babu Vatika and from there, proceed the procession for the gherao of Rajbhawan.
Cong state vice–president said that the party is protesting against the wrong policy of the central government and giving undue advantage to industrialist Gautam Adani.
“The voice of opposition party leaders is gagged across the country. It is the murder of democracy in the country. Whoever opposition leader speaks against the central government of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Income Tax and Enforcement Directorate (ED) fall behind him to harass,” said the Cong vice-president.
Brajendra Prasad Singh said that ED, Income Tax and CBI probe only against opposition parties leader and so far no any type of inquiry has been done against BJP leaders.
“Cong Party would not tolerate such dictatorship and violation of the constitution. So Rajbhawan would be ghearoed to lodge a protest”, he said.
