Dhanbad, Oct 25: Four trains of the Dhanbad Division’s Grand Chord and Central Industrial Coalfields (CIC) routes to Varanasi have been terminated to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Junction till October 30 due to heavy congestion at the Varanasi railway yard.
An official of the Dhanbad Rail Division said that four trains now would not go to Varanasi and return from Pandit Deendayal Updhayay Railway Station only.
The terminated trains which include train no. 13553 Asansol–Varanasi Express will go only to Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay station while train no. 13554 Varanasi- Asansol Express till October 31st will set out for Asansol from Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay junction on the grand chord line.
Train no. 03359 Barkakana-Varanasi passenger special train of CIC section would also go till Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Junction while train no. 03360 Varanasi- Barkakana passenger special will start from Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Junction for Barkakana till October 31st.
