Dhanbad, Feb 2: Additional District and Sessions Judge-III on Wednesday framed charges against accused Lakhan Kumar Verma and Rahul Kumar Verma during the hearing in Dhanbad Civil Court in the death case of late District Additional Judge Uttam Anand of Dhanbad.
The charges framed are for commission of offences under section 302 (Murder), 201(Destruction of Evidence) and section 34 (Common Intention).
The next hearing of the case will be on February 22.
Notably, Judge Uttam Anand knocked to death on July 28, 2021, as he was hit by an auto while he was on a morning walk. The CBI had filed a charge sheet in this case on October 20. The charge sheet included sections 302, 201 and 34 of the IPC.
