Dhanbad, Sept 24: Rajesh, a mechanic who was doing paint work in a house near Bhistipada Kali Temple in Dhanbad, died due to an electric shock on Sunday.
The owner of the house took him to SNMMCH in critical condition, where doctors declared him as brought dead.
Rajesh was a resident of Jharia and was employed for painting work in a house located in Bhistipara. On Saturday, he had finished painting three rooms, and on Sunday morning, while painting one of the rooms after cleaning it, he came into contact with an electric wire, resulting in electrocution.
After being electrocuted, local residents removed the house’s fuse to disconnect the electricity, which caused Rajesh to fall to the ground. Meanwhile, Dhanbad Thana police arrived at the scene to conduct an investigation. The house in question belongs to Janardan Saw.
