Dhanbad railway division launches ‘one station-one product’ project

Dhanbad, Sept 7: The Dhanbad Rail Division of East Central Railway  (ECR) zone today launched its ambitious project of ‘one station-one product’  for the promotion of local products at its railway stations in the division.

Giving this information to media persons, the Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (Sr DCM) of Dhanbad Rail Division said that in the first phase, stalls have been allotted on a temporary basis at 11 stations of the division on a seniority basis for 15 days for the promotion of local products.

The eleven railway stations that have been selected for the stall under the Dhanbad Division are Dhanbad, Gomoh, Parasnath, Koderma, Barkakana,  Latehar, Tori, Daltongunj,  Renukut, Chopan, and Singrauli.

“Besides it, in the second phase stalls would be allotted on a temporary basis at  15 other stations for 15 days soon. The railway stations that have been selected for the second phase are Ranchi Road, Hazaribag Road, Parsabad, Paharpur, Pradhankhanta, Tetulmari, Katrasgarh, Chandrapura,  Gomia,  Khalari, Patratu, Barbadih, Garhwa Road,  Garhwa, Nagar Utari,” said the  Sr DCM.

The senior official said under the project local products have to be promoted and interested persons can get details for the allotment process from selected railway station masters of section commercial inspector.

Meanwhile, Palamu MP BD Ram today inaugurated the halt of the Bhopal-Howrah Express (13026) at the Garhwa railway station, said a senior divisional officer.
