Dhanbad, July 9: Preparations have started to make Dhanbad railway station state-of-the-art. The new railway station will be developed on the lines of the airport, the design of which has been prepared. The new station building and approach road have been designed keeping in mind the Dedicated Freight Corridor passing through Dhanbad.
Sharing the design of the station, MP Pashupatinath Singh tweeted that the construction work would be done soon. The MP has written in his tweet that the design of Dhanbad railway station has been prepared and the construction work is going to start soon. For this, he has expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister and the Railway Minister.
For the convenience of the passengers, automatic stairs and lifts will be installed on each platform of the station. There will be an access control gate. Drinking water, internet, food, drinking water, ATM and other necessary facilities will be made available. Separate buildings will be constructed for arrival and departure at the station. The entrance and exit of the station will be made in such a way that the passengers will not have to face congestion. Special facilities will be available for disabled passengers. For green energy, there will be solar panels, rainwater harvesting, a water recycling plant, solid waste management and an upgraded fire fighting system.
