Dhanbad, March 25: Police have arrested two private van drivers of a school for harassing and doing indecent acts with a class VII girl student of a posh institution under the Barora police station and sent them to jail.
Barora police station’s officer-in-charge Neeraj Kumar said that on a complaint lodged by the father of the student both the van drivers identified as Kamlesh Rawani and Sachin Kumar were picked up from their houses on Friday evening and sent to jail today.
As per the complaint, private van driver Kamlesh Rawani, who used to drop off and receive the girl from school, has been making indecent acts with her for the last six months. His friend Sanchin Kumar, who also ran a van in the same school also joined him in it and began sending obscene messages to her on mobile phone.
Rattled by the actions of both the school van drivers, the girl informed her father about it. The girl’s father reached the Barora police station and lodged a complaint about it against both drivers. Barora police station’s officer-in-charge Neeraj Kumar on Friday conducted raids in their search and finally arrested them from Harina basti and Bada Pandeydih area.
