Dhanbad, Dec 27: Three passenger trains have been cancelled and 9 other express trains diverted after the derailment of three wagons of goods train at Tankuppa railway station between Koderma–Gaya rail section under Dhanbad Rail Division of East Central Railway (ECR) Zone on Tuesday early morning.
Senior public relation officer of Dhanbad Rail Division PK Mishra said that at around 3.15 am on Tuesday three wagons of a goods train derailed on the upline of Grand Chord Line at Tankuppa railway station. ECR has also issued a helpline number.
Rescue vans of from Gomoh and Gaya have reached the incident spot to clear the upline track. The ECR has cancelled two trains and diverted the route of 7 others due to derailment.
The trains that have been cancelled are 13305 Up Dhanbad Gaya – Dehri-On –Sone and 13306 Down Dehri-On-Sone – Gaya –Dhanbad passenger trains
Train no. 13553 Asansol -Varanasi Express has been cancelled.
The trains that have been diverted are:
- Train no.18626 Hatia- Purnia Court Express would run via Chandrapura- Dhanbad- Pradhankhanta- Kulti railway station.
- Train.12801 Puri- New Delhi Purushottam Express which started on Monday ( December 26) would run via Chandrapura- Katrasgarh- Dhanbad- Pradhankhanta- Jha jha – Patna- Pt Deendayal Upadhyay railway station.

4. Train .12311 Howrah –Kalka Mail
5. Train no.12938 Howrah Gandhidham Express
6. Train no. 12825 Ranchi- Anandvihar Express
7. Train no. 22307 Howrah –Bikaner Express
8. Train no.12321 Howrah – Chhatrapati Maharaj Shivaji Express
9. Train no. 12987 Sealdah- Ajmer Superfast Express that started on December 26 will run via Nesubo- Gomoh- Dhanbad- Jha- jha- Patna main line.
