Dhanbad, March 18: Three youth were crushed to death under Howrah- New Delhi Rajdhani Express while crossing the track at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Gomoh railway station of Dhanbad Rail Division on Friday evening.
Gomoh RPF Inspector Vijay Shankar told media that the incident occurred around 8.25 PM of Friday. They were crossing the track for platform no. 3 in the meantime Howrah- New Delhi bound Rajdhani Express passed and they came under it.
Howrah – New Delhi Rajdhani Express has no stoppage at Gomoh railway station. After the incident different parts of all trio victims youths were found in around 500 metres radius .
“ The victims , who were relatives and friends, were identified at late night as Manoj Sab ( 19) of Barwadda ,Dhanbaad, Shiv Charan Sab( 20) , Gomoh Bazar and Babloo Kumar (20) of Gomoh bazaar,” said RPF Inspector Vijay Shankar.
The official said the three youth had come down at platform no. 4 of the station from Asansol- Gomoh passenger and were crossing the track for platform no. 3 when the incident occurred. Rather going through the platform , they tried to cross from track.
The relatives of victims families also reached the station and identified their kin on the basis of clothes and garland in the neck after five hours of inspection at around late night of Friday- Saturday.
