DPS Ranchi bags first position in regional level singing competition

Ranchi, Nov 21: Students of DPS Ranchi secured first prize in the regional level of the inter-school group singing competition on Monday and stepped on to the next level being held nationwide by Bharat Vikas Parishad (East Region) at Sanskriti Bhawan, Puri, Odisha. A total of six teams from Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha and West Bengal participated in the competition.

It is worth mentioning here that, the team from DPS Ranchi bagged the first position at district level and qualified for the state level competition. After securing the first position at the state Level, they qualified for regional Level.

The participants showcased their talent through patriotic songs delivered in Hindi and Sanskrit languages and bagged the first position in both genres. The team of DPS Ranchi will now be participating in the national level competition which is scheduled to be held in Rajasthan.

Principal Dr Ram Singh congratulated the students on their achievement and sent them best wishes for the national level competition.
