Ranchi, July 26: DPS Ranchi has emerged victorious as State Champion School in Fit India Quiz being organised by the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports in Mumbai from 21st July to 30th July 2022.
Shakeb Arsalan and Vaishnav Garodia of DPS Ranchi bagged a cash prize of Rs 25,000, while the school received a cash prize of Rs 2,50,000. The participants were felicitated by Sports Minister of India Anurag Thakur. The students of DPS Ranchi also qualified for the semi-final round at the national level.
DPS Ranchi is one of the 36 teams from 28 states and 8 Union Territories qualified for the nationals, the school said in a statement.
Congratulating Shakeb and Vaishnav for the success, DPS Ranchi Principal Dr Ram Singh said, “This achievement showcases the importance of determination, grit and perseverance. DPS Ranchi has always worked on ensuring the all-round development of the students.”
