DPS Ranchi conducts entrance exam for Class XI admissions

Ranchi, March 24: An entrance exam cum aptitude test was organised by DPS, Ranchi on Thursday at its campus for students seeking admission into Class XI for the session 2023-24. More than 3,000 students from all over India appeared for the exam. The applicants had previously obtained all the related information from the school’s official website regarding the exam format, length of the test, and syllabus for all three streams (Science, Commerce, and Humanities).

 

In addition, the school held an interactive session in Vivekananda Auditorium for the parents of the applicants. Dr. Ram Singh, the school’s principal, attended the meeting. Invoking the Delhi Public School’s slogan, ‘Service Before Self,’ he added , “DPS Ranchi offers quality education to its students and develop qualities of body, mind and character which will enable the young individuals to become good and useful citizens and eventually be a feeder to the Nation. The school is committed for the holistic development of the students so that they consistently strive hard to live up to the expectations of their parents and nation.”

A PowerPoint presentation was shown at the programme, highlighting the outstanding accomplishments of DPS Ranchi in Board Exams and several international, national, state, and district-level competitions.

The principal asked the parents to constantly encourage and support the students’ professional aspirations and areas of interest. He also emphasised the significance of education in influencing a person’s life. He also emphasised the value of knowledge and moral principles in life. Also, the parents of the students questioned the Principal about the school’s educational programme, how to prepare for numerous prestigious exams, job options, etc., to which the Principal provided clear answers.
