Ranchi, Sept 28: Delhi Public School, Ranchi on Wednesday felicitated the alumni that are JEE Advanced qualifiers in the examination of 2022. These included Suryansh Srijan, (state topper), Aditya Prakash (among the top five students from the Bhubaneshwar region), Vikash Kumar Ojha, Aviral Singh, Sasmit Aditya, Anupam Gaurav, Samridhi Sahay (city girls topper), Sheersh Sen, Ayush Kumar and Ujjwal Sinha.
Soon after the event began, Suryansh Srijan was felicitated with the “Nishant Kumar Memorial Award”. He received a cash prize of Rs 31,000 with a certificate and a memento. The students on the occasion spoke of their aspirations, and plans for the future and answered queries of junior students.
The students shared interesting tips regarding staying motivated without losing their enthusiasm. They explained to their juniors that they did not cut themselves totally from their hobbies as it would make the preparation tiring and exhausting.
The students emphasized on the importance of interactions with a good peer group to prepare for competitions.
In the Question-Answer Session, the students shared ways to decide on the most productive study hours during the day and recommended some additional books alongside the regular books. The students further urged their juniors to focus more on figuring out the pattern of questions and the structure of the paper and continue practising sample questions. They also highlighted the importance of time management and accuracy while solving the questions during an exam.
The interactive session was meant to give students an insight into the experience of the JEE Advance qualifiers as an IIT aspirant thereby giving the right direction to the preparation of juniors.
Principal Dr Ram Singh congratulated the qualifiers and encouraged them to reach the pinnacle of success with grit and determination. He said, “The school is proud to have nurtured such brilliant and talented students and has set a new record for itself in procuring remarkable results and achievements.”
