DPS Ranchi students bag 3rd position in ‘Thinq: The Indian Navy Quiz’

Ranchi, Nov 25: Anurag Lakra (Class XII) and Yashaswi Jain (Class X) of DPS Ranchi secured the third position in THINQ- Indian Navy Quiz organised by the Indian Navy on Friday. Notably, the semifinal and final rounds were held in the Aircraft carrier INS Vikramaditya.

Anurag and Yashaswi of DPS Ranchi were felicitated with a laptop each and they bagged the cash prize of Rs 25,000. The participants were felicitated by the Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral R Hari Kumar.

It is worth mentioning that, 15000 participants of 7500 teams across the country participated in this competition and after four online rounds 16 teams qualified for the Semifinals and then eight teams qualified for the Final Round.

Congratulating Anurag and Yashaswi on this success, Dr Ram Singh, Principal, DPS Ranchi said, “This achievement has showcased the importance of determination, grit and perseverance.”
