Dr. D. Rama Krishna Rao becomes All India President of Vidya Bharati

Ranchi, March 26: Senior RSS volunteer and leading educationist Dr. D. Ramakrishna Rao was today selected president of Vidya Bharati, a national organization which runs Saraswati Vidya Mandir across the country.

 

The decision was taken on the second of the general assembly meeting of the organization at Aditya Prakash Jalan Vindya Mandir campus in Kudlum in the outskirts of Jharkhand capital. In the meeting as many as 331 participants from 11 regions of 67 provinces are participating.

 

Emphasizing on the National Education Policy 2020 he in his presidential address held today urged everyone to implement it in their respective areas for the all-round development of the children, which would inculcate a sense of nationality and belongingness within the children.

 

During the general assembly meeting the statue of late Aditya Prakash Jalan was unveiled in the courtyard of the school by RSS Sah Sarkaryavah Krishna Gopal Ji.

 

Former chief minister of Jharkhand Raghubar Das was also present during the meeting. He along with a student inaugurated a Shishu Vatika (Kinder Garden) in the same school premises.
