Jamshedpur, Oct 16: Dry and clear weather would continue to prevail in Jharkhand, said weathermen at IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre today.
According to weathermen, no significant synoptic condition prevails over Jharkhand and westerly to north-westerly wind was fluctuating over Jharkhand.
Due to the dominating north-westerly currents coupled with the departure of south- west monsoon nip in the morning air would be felt in different places especially those located at higher altitudes like Ranchi.
Residents of several other places in northern, southern and central Jharkhand would feel the nip in the air.
Meanwhile, dry weather prevailed over the state during the past 24 hours.
The highest maximum temperature of 36°C was recorded at Godda while the lowest minimum temperature of 18.5°C was recorded at Ranchi.
