Jamshedpur, Oct 29: Most of the districts of Jharkhand would witness dry and fair weather on Saturday, said weathermen at IMD’s Ranchi Met Centre.
According to weathermen, no significant synoptic system prevails over Jharkhand and hence clear sky and dry weather conditions would prevail today and in the next three days.
Nip in the air would be felt in the morning and evening. Met officials also did not rule out the possibility of a light breeze today.
Head of Ranchi Met Centre Abhishek Anand said there won’t be any significant changes in both day and night readings during the next 72- hours.
Weathermen at IMD’s regional centre at Alipore in Kolkata said with the likely setting in of northeasterly winds in the lower tropospheric levels over the Bay of Bengal and extreme South Peninsular India, the northeast monsoon rains are likely to commence over southeast Peninsular India from today.
Moreover, according to weathermen Jharkhand is expected to witness the complete onset of winter in the first week of November.
