Jamshedpur, Dec 20: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued a forecast of dry weather over Jharkhand with a slight rise in minimum temperature today and in the next 72 hours.
The weathermen said the north-westerly and westerly wind was prevailing over Jharkhand. Such a wind pattern is expected to prevail in the next few days.
“We do not find any adverse weather system which may compact Jharkhand’s weather in the next 72 hours. The weather condition would be mainly dry over Jharkhand,” said a duty officer at Ranchi Met Centre.
Notably, Ranchi recorded around 9 degrees Celsius today while Daltonganj recorded 8 degrees Celsius.
The Met statistics revealed that many places recorded less than 10 degrees Celsius today.
