Ranchi: Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University (DSPMU), Ranchi, is committed to ensuring a transparent admission process and active participation of students, said Vice Chancellor Anjani Kumar Mishra on Saturday.

Clear Communication on Attendance Requirements

Addressing key administrative officials, Mishra emphasized that students should be clearly informed about the 75% attendance requirement during admissions to avoid any confusion.

The Vice Chancellor issued these directives after holding a meeting with the university’s Acting Registrar Dr. Dhananjay Dwivedi and Controller of Examinations Dr. Shuchi Santosh Barwar. He also interacted with heads of various departments to review departmental status, student attendance, academic progress, library resources, and ongoing research activities.

Upcoming Examinations a Priority

Highlighting institutional priorities, Mishra said, “Our most significant goal is to successfully conduct the undergraduate examinations beginning on July 26, 2026. Along with maintaining a regular examination schedule, safeguarding student interests remains a top priority.”

Appeal to Students for Accurate Information

In the meeting, the Vice Chancellor issued necessary directives to make the admission process more transparent. He urged students to seek accurate information directly from officials in their respective departments and to refrain from believing or spreading unverified information.
