Dumka, June 18: The dead body of a woman tied with a rope has been recovered. This case pertains to the Chorbatia stone quarry under the Hansdiha police station area of Dumka where the police recovered the dead body of the woman on Sunday morning.
The woman is wearing a red T-shirt and jeans. The dress of the woman suggests she seems to belong to an elite house. The woman is wearing mangalsutra, bracelet and branded watch. A rope is tied on the woman’s body. Due to this, it is feared that the woman was murdered somewhere else and then her body was dragged and thrown near the stone quarry.
Police reached the spot and the people around have been questioning about the woman. However, the identity of the woman has not been ascertained yet. Police have taken the dead body in possession and sent it for postmortem.
