New Delhi, Jan 18: Dutee Chand, the current 100-meter national champion and fastest female runner in India, has been temporarily suspended after testing positive for drug abuse.
An out-of-competition testing process produced a positive test result. Selective androgen receptor modulators (SARMs), a family of medicinal substances having anabolic effects akin to those of anabolic steroids but with lesser androgenic (creating male traits) properties, were found in Dutee’s body.
