Ramgarh: DAV student wins inspire award at district level exhibition

Ramgarh, Jan 18: Satyam Ranjan, a student of class VIII, DAV Barkakhana has brought laurels to the school by winning the inspire award at a District Level Exhibition – cum – Project Competition, where the students were said to send innovative ideas.

In the competition, Satyam Ranjan of DAV Barkakana is among the forty-five students who have been selected for the next round. Satyam`s project is titled `Utilisation of Harvested Rain Water for Irrigation Purpose’.

Answering a question, Satyam said that if his project is launched on a large scale, the water problems can be minimized both at school and in fields, especially for irrigation purposes and it can also be used for other purposes as well.

Dr Urmila Singh, Principal – cum – ARO Jharkhand Zone `D’ congratulated Satyam and wished him a bright future. Meanwhile, she also encourages other students to come up with new and innovative ideas as it helps the country to move forward.
