Earthquake of magnitude 3.5 hits Ladakh’s Leh

Leh, March 13: An earthquake of magnitude 3.5 on the Richter scale hit the Leh district of Ladakh on Monday at 10.52 am IST.

Taking to Twitter, National Center for Seismology (NCS) said, “Earthquake of Magnitude:3.5, Occurred on 13-03-2023, 10:52:50 IST, Lat: 34.57 and Long: 77.86, Depth: 10 Km, Location: Leh, Ladakh.”

Earlier on Sunday, an earthquake of magnitude 4.6 on the Richter scale hit Iztapa, Guatemala. The earthquake’s epicentre was 13.784°N and 90.546°W, respectively.

On March 10, an earthquake of magnitude 4.1 on the Richter Scale hit 101 km south of Fayzabad, Afghanistan on Friday at 07:57 am IST.
