Earthquake of magnitude 4.4 hits Tajikistan

New Delhi, March 19: Tajikistan was rocked by an earthquake on Sunday with a magnitude of 4.4 on the Richter scale, according to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS).

The earthquake, which occurred at 11:31:25 IST, originated at a depth of 170 kilometres, according to the NCS.
Tajikistan was the location of an earthquake of a magnitude of 4.4 that occurred on March 19, 2023, at 11:31:25 IST, at coordinates 37.85 and 73.47 kilometres deep.

No casualties have been reported so far. Further details awaited.
