Aamir Khan and others were the targets of a mobile gaming application fraud, according to a FIR filed by the Kolkata Police. Aamir Khan, the defendant, is being held by police.
The ED asserts that the defendant, Aamir Khan, introduced the mobile game programme E-nuggets with the intent of defrauding users. Users were initially compensated with a commission and had easy access to their wallet balance.
However, withdrawals from the aforementioned app were abruptly suspended once the public had contributed a sum of money that may be seized. Shortly after, all data, including profile information, was deleted from the servers hosting the aforementioned apps.
The ED investigation found that the accused was using crypto currency exchange to send a portion of the money obtained unlawfully through E-nuggets to foreign countries.
