ED notice to Pankaj Mishra, his associates

Ranchi, July 9: The Enforcement Directorate has issued notices to Pankaj Mishra and all others whose premises in Sahibganj were raided by the agency on Friday and Saturday. The agency has directed them to appear before the ED to record their statements vis a vis their involvement in the money laundering.

According to information, Vishnu Yadav alias Chhotu Yadav who is the business partner of Pankaj Mishra has been directed to turn up for questioning on July 14.

On Friday night the ED sealed Maa Durga Stone Works owned by Vishnu Yadav and Pankaj Mishra who is the MLA representative of Chief Minister Hemant Soren. The stone crusher unit is situated in Mauja Marikuti plots numbers 74, 75, and 76 in Sahibganj district.

On Friday the ED raided the premises of Pankaj Mishra and his associates. They include Dahu Yadav, Vishnu Yadav, Sonu Singh, Sunil Yadav, Bacchu Yadav, Raju Bhagat, Patru Singh, Twinkle Bhagat, Krishna Sao, Nimai Seal, Subroto Pal, Bhagwan Bhagat, Kanhaiya Khudania, his uncle Bedu Khudania. Sanjay Diwan and Bhabhesh Bhagat. Meanwhile, the ED has deposited the entire seized cash at the Main Branch of the State Bank of India at Sahibganj.
