Bishnupur, June 14: Officials informed on Wednesday that eight persons had been apprehended after a suitcase containing bombs was discovered in their car.
Qutubuddin Khan, the deputy superintendent of police in Bishnupur, reported that a bag containing bombs was found in a car during the vehicle check.
“A bag containing bombs has been recovered from a car during the checking of vehicles in Bankura. 8 people were detained,” said Qutubuddin Khan.
The investigation is in progress and further information is awaited.
