Mumbai, Jan 3: Producer Ekta Kapoor has tested positive for Covid-19 and is currently home quarantined. Ekta has asked all her friends and family, who met her recently, to get tested as well.
She shared the news on an Instagram post and wrote “Despite taking all precautions I have tested covid positive. I am fine and I request everyone who has come in contact with me to please test themselves.”
Several celebs wished Ekta a swift recovery. “Owh.. Take care and get well soon,” wrote actress Shweta Tiwari. “Speedy recovery flowers”, Hina Khan commented. Actress Mouni Roy wrote, “Get well soonest. Lots of love”. Director Hansal Mehta had written, “Take care Ekta”.
Earlier in the day, Bollywood actor-producer John Abraham also informed that he along with his wife Priya Runchal have tested positive for Covid-19.
Earlier, other Bollywood celebrities including Mrunal Thakur, Nora Fatehi and Shilpa Shirodkar also tested positive for COVID-19.
