New Delhi, March 10: Viewing the current status of Covid-19 in polled States, the Election Commission of India has decided to relax the guidelines on victory processions during and after the counting and has withdrawn the banket ban on victory procession.
However, this relaxation will be subject to existing instructions of SDMA and preventive measures, imposed by concerned district authorities, said the Election Commission of India.
The EC had stated earlier on Wednesday that there would be no triumph processions following the Punjab election results today.
