Lohardaga, Feb 13: Once again there has been an encounter between the Naxalites and the police. According to the sources, the incident of the encounter took place in the Bulbul forest of the highly Naxal-affected Pesharar police station area of ??the district. On Sunday, there was an encounter between the Naxalites and the police, there is continuous firing on both sides since morning. However, there is no official confirmation of the encounter.
The police have started a siege in the border forest of Gumla and Lohardaga to surround the regional commander of CPI-Maoist, Ravindra Ganjhu, having a reward of 15 lakhs, and his squad. According to sources, more than 400 policemen and security forces have entered the forest. The police are also conducting a detailed investigation of the pedestrians and small vehicles on the suspected Ghaghra and Netarhat main road, so that the Naxalites cannot enter the Naxalite area under any circumstances. Even when the pressure of the police increases, the Naxalites leave the Bulbul forest and enter either Gumla or the old mountain of Latehar. That is why this time the police is engaged in encircling the Naxalites in the Bulbul forest itself.

It is known that the Maoists have left IED bombs in the forest at many places in order to protect themselves and harm the police in the wilderness. Due to which the police are also facing great difficulties in running the campaign. The soldiers have to walk every single step by blowing. However, along with the police being harmed by this IED, the common villagers are also facing losses due to IED bombs many times. Recently, three jawans have been injured after being hit by an IED.
