Dhanbad, Jan 19: BJP Baghmara MLA Dhulu Mahto today alleged that under political vendetta present state government has filed 15 cases against him in false charges so far.

Mahto, appeared today in Special MP MLA Court while talking to media persons that officers of district administration and political party’s local leaders are giving wrong information about me. Some cases were filed against him in police stations of Dhanbad when he had been in Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad for treatment.

Three times Baghmara MLA is facing at least 43 cases in which in some cases he has been punished and in some cases, he has been absolved.

Presently he has been in Dhanbad jail since January 9, in connection with a 10-year-old case of freeing a warrantee from police custody.

“State government can file false cases against me but I have full faith in God and Court and I would be cleared from charges soon,” he said.

Mahto said that since he raised the death of 300 tribal in the assembly while holding Hemant Soren responsible, the state government has implicated him in false cases.

“That is why when I come out from jail in one case another case is lodged against me to keep behind bars,” said the MLA.
