Eye donation awareness club invites Jharkhand Governor to attend Run-for-Vision on Sept 14

Ranchi, Sept. 9: A delegation of the Eye Donation Awareness Club and Kashyap Memorial Eye Bank paid a courtesy call on Governor C P Radhakrishnan and a souvenir of the work done by the organization was also presented to him.

The delegation comprising Dr. BP Kashyap, Dr. Bharti Kashyap, journalist Rajesh Tomar and senior journalist Manoj Prasad invited the governor to attend the “Blind Folded Run for Vision” to be organized on September 14.

The governor was also given a T-shirt related to Eye Donation Mahadan to be used in the Run-for-Vision. The members of the organization informed the governor that the organization is doing very good work in the field of eye transplantation in Jharkhand.

154 corneal transplants have been performed by Kashyap Memorial Eye Bank since 2022. 340 corneal transplants have been performed in the last five years.
