New Delhi, Dec 9: The farmers’ agitation, which has been going on for a year and 14 days on the Delhi border has finally ended on Thursday, December 9. The Sanyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM) announced this decision through a press briefing.
Protesting farmers also received a letter from Govt of India, with promises of forming a committee on MSP and withdrawing cases against them immediately.

Meanwhile, farmers have started uprooting the tents on the Singhu border. However, SKM said that the farmers will start leaving for their home from December 11. They will leave for Punjab together from Singhu and Tikri borders. On 13th December, leaders of 32 organizations of Punjab will pay obeisance at Shri Darbar Sahib in Amritsar. After that, on December 15, the fronts engaged in about 116 places in Punjab will be abolished.
The leaders of SKM also informed that they will hold a review meeting on January 15, 2022 and that this meeting will be held every month. They have also warned the government that if their demands are not met, they will start the agitation again.
