Ramgarh, June 7: A case of a Facebook affair turning into a marriage has come to the fore in Ramgarh district.
A resident of Sosokla village of Baralanga police station area of Gola block under Ramgarh district had lodged a missing case of his daughter Brinda Kumari last year.
Barlanga police station in-charge Amit Kumar said that after receiving the complaint about the missing girl, the police called many people of the area for interrogation, but no clue of the girl was found.
In May 2022, the girl registered her husband’s name on the Aadhar card instead of her father on which a message was received on the mobile of her house. The police then took the information from the Aadhar card and found the girl.
Brinda was recovered by the police after around seven months from Fatehabad’s Borha village of Thana Sarai under Bihar’s Vaishali district.
The girl told the police that she had a friendship with Pawan Kumar through Facebook. She went to Bihar with her boyfriend after running away from home on December 23, 2021, where they got married with mutual consent.
Brinda said that she is happy with her husband and does not want to come to her father’s house. After completing all the formalities, the Barlanga police returned.
