New Delhi, June 9: The Delhi Fire Service (DFS) saved 20 infants after a fire broke out in a room of a Newborn Child Hospital in Vaishali Colony, New Delhi, according to the police on Friday.
Nine fire engines arrived on the scene, and the Delhi Fire Service (DFS) safely rescued and transported all 20 newborn babies to local hospitals, according to the Delhi Police.
Out of the 20 infants, 13 were transferred to the Arya Hospital in Janakpuri, and two were sent to the Dwarka More Newborn Child Hospital, added the police.
Three newborns were released from the newborn infant hospital in Vaishali, while two were transferred to JK Hospital in Janakpuri.
