Fire department deploys firefighters, fire engines across 24 places in Ranchi amid Diwali celebrations

Ranchi, Oct 23: The Jharkhand Fire Service Department has completed preparations for the Diwali festival as fire engines have been deployed along with firefighters at 24 places in the capital.

Apart from the fire brigade vehicles, the department has also kept its hydraulic platform ready. The fire department is fully prepared in case of firecrackers or any untoward incident during Diwali.

Apart from the four fire stations in Ranchi, fire engines have been sent to a total of six places, which are completely ready. Other resources including foam have also been arranged by the department to extinguish the fire. All the fire stations have been instructed by the Fire Headquarters to be ready 24×7.
