The scientists who have been figured in the list are; CIMFR Director Dr. Pradeep Kumar Singh, Dr. R E Mesto, Dr. PP Pal, Dr. Gautam Banerjee and Dr. Abhay Kumar Singh.

This is the first time scientists of CIMFR have been selected among the top scientists of the world since Stanford University has started publishing the list.

As per the release by Stanford University, CIMFR director Dr. Pradeep Kumar Singh and Dr Gautam Banerjee have been listed for their outstanding citations in mining and metal. Dr. R E Mesto, Dr. Abhay Kumar Singh and Dr. PP Pal have been selected on the basis of their research in the field of environmental engineering.

CIMFR Senior Scientist cum media in-charge Dr. Sidharth Singh observed that such recognition by a world-renowned institution shows the commitment and dedication of CIMFR scientists for the development of science and industrial development. “The publication and citation of scientists would help in industrial development and use of society,” he said.

CIMFR director Dr. Pradeep Kumar Singh said, “Of course it is a matter of pride. This achievement would encourage future young scientists of the institution to concentrate on research and carry CIMFR to the top of the world centre,” he said.

Dr. Singh, besides the director of CIMFR, is also associated with the Indian Academy of Science (IAS) Bengaluru.
