Ranchi: Former Chief Minister Raghubar Das has rejoined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), marking his return to active political engagement within the party. BJP’s state president Babulal Marandi formally inducted him during a ceremony attended by prominent leaders, including Ranchi MLA C.P. Singh.
Raghubar Das, a key figure in Jharkhand politics, previously served as the Chief Minister from 2014 to 2019 and was a five-time MLAfrom Jamshedpur East. Known as one of the founding members of the BJP in Jharkhand, his return signals a resurgence in his political career.
Tribute Before Rejoining
Before formally taking membership, Raghubar Das paid homage to Dharti Aaba Birsa Munda and late BJP leader Kailashpati Mishraby garlanding their statues.
On this occasion, he expressed his commitment to the party’s vision, stating, “Every BJP worker is dedicated to taking the nation to unparalleled heights. I am ready to contribute to this grand mission.”
