Four trains of Dhanbad-Chandrapura-Barkakana lane to run on diverted route

Dhanbad, Sept 15: Four trains of Dhanbad- Chandrapura- Barkakana lane will run through the diverted route of Pt Deendayal Upadhyay- Prayagraj- Chheoki for five days from September 29 due to yard remoulding work at  Katni railway junction under the West Central Rail (WCR) zone.

A senior officer of the Dhanbad Railway Division today said that on September 30 train no.19414 Kolkata- Ahmedabad weekly express will run via the Dhanbad-Gaya-Pt Deendayal Upadhyay- Prayagraj route rather than the original lane of Dhanbad- Chandrapura-Barkakana-Daltonganj.

On October 2, train no.13025 Howrah-Bhopal weekly express would run via Dhanbad Pt Deendayal- Upadhyay-Prayagraj Chivni -Katni Murwara route rather than Dhanbad-Chandrapur- Barkakana original lane.

Same day (October 2),  train no.19608 Madar-Kolkata weekly express will come through Katni Murwara- Prayagraj Chivni-Pt Deendayal Upadhyay- Gaya- Dhanbad rather than Daltonganj- Barkakana-Dhanbad lane.

On October 4, train no. 13026 Bhopal-Howrah weekly express will run via the Katni-Murwara- Prayagraj Chivni- Pt Deendayal Upadhyay route in place  of the original lane of Daltonganj- Barkakana route

The official said besides the Dhanbad-Chandrapura lane trains,  two trains have also been diverted. On September 29, train no.18009 Santragachi- Ajmer Express will run from Chandrapura-Gomoh-Gaya- Pt Deendayal Upadhyay route rather than the original route of Muri-Barkakana- Daltonganj lane.
