New Delhi, July 6: Following the resignations of health and finance ministers, the UK government lost two more ministers on Wednesday, putting Prime Minister Boris Johnson under even more pressure.
The junior transport minister Laura Trott announced her resignation due to a lack of ‘confidence’ in the cabinet, while the minister for children and families Will Quince said he had ‘no choice but to present my resignation.’
“With great sadness and regret, I have this morning tendered my resignation to the Prime Minister after I accepted and repeated assurances on Monday to the media which have now been found to be inaccurate. I wish my successor well – it is the best job in government,” Will Quince tweeted.

Notably, after the shocking resignations of Rishi Sunak and Sajid Javid, Boris Johnson selected his health secretary Nadhim Zahawi as the new finance minister and Steve Barclay as the new health secretary.
