Ghatshila: Man dies after uncontrolled tempo hits bike

Ghatshila, Oct 15: A middle-aged bike driver died in a direct collision with an uncontrolled auto-rickshaw on the service road of NH 18 four lane near Manohar Colony of Tashila police station area on Sunday. A woman who was pillion on the bike was also injured in the mishap.

With the assistance of local residents, both individuals were rushed to the Subdivisional Hospital in Ghatsila. After an examination, Dr. R.N. Tudu of the Subdivisional Hospital pronounced Manzoor Ali dead.

Dr. Tudu provided primary care to the woman and then referred her to MGMM Hospital for better treatment.

In relation to the incident, the deceased’s nephew, Ahmed Ali, explained that his aunt was severely injured in the accident.

The deceased bike rider, 55-year-old Manzoor Ali, a resident of Phulpal, was returning home after taking Sakila Khatoon from Ghatshila. In the process, an uncontrolled tempo (JH 05 CN 1543) collided directly with the motorcycle.
