New Delhi, Jan 10: Aviation regulator DGCA has sought a report from Go First Airways after a flight left Bengaluru with more than 50 passengers left in a bus at the airport.
Around 6.30 am on Monday, flight G8 116 departed Bengaluru’s Kempegowda International Airport for Delhi.
After numerous passengers criticised the airline on Twitter and called it a ‘most frightening experience. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation announced today that it is looking into the situation.
DGCA has sought a report from GoFirst after the airline's flight from Bengaluru forgot to board over 50 pax at Bangalore airport on 9th Jan. 53 out of 55 passengers were shifted to another airline for Delhi and onward, remaining 2 asked for a refund which was paid by the airline. pic.twitter.com/IRfOMpGz8u

Four buses were used to transport passengers to the aircraft. According to complaints posted on Twitter with the hashtags ‘Go First,’ ‘Jyotiraditya Scindia, Civil Aviation Minister,’ and ‘Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Office,’ some 55 passengers were left waiting in one of the vehicles while the Go First plane took off.
The travellers had checked all of their bags and had their boarding cards. Go First Airways, responding to the tweets, said, “We regret the inconvenience caused.”

According to reports, the passengers were accommodated on a flight that took off four hours later, at 10 am. However, the airline has not released a statement regarding what appears to be a major error.
