Goa polls: TMC fields Seoula Vas from Fatorda after Faleiro withdraws nomination

Panaji, Jan 28: TMC fields Seoula Vas as its candidate from Fatorda constituency on Friday after Luizinho Faleiro announced the withdrawal of his candidature from the constituency.

Earlier, Luizinho Faleiro, the National Vice-President of the Trinamool Congress (TMC), announced on Friday that he is withdrawing his nomination from Fatorda and will pass the torch to a young professional woman.

Goo Assembly elections will be held in Goa on 14 February 2022.  The votes will be counted and the results will be declared on 10 March 2022.
