Godda, Jan 1: Nine houses were gutted in a fire on Sunday morning in Harinchara, near the Mahagama police station in the Godda district of Jharkhand.
The flames were so high that no one came near the fire. Meanwhile, Mukesh Kumar Singh, who is the station in charge of Mahagama police station, was seen extinguishing the fire alone.
It was early morning, so there were few people. By the time the fire brigade would have reached the scene, the fire would have taken a formidable form. Therefore, Mukesh Kumar Singh immediately started extinguishing the fire without delay. After which the fire engine reached the spot and controlled the fire.
