Godda, Sept.29: Godda district will now have direct access to the state capital, Ranchi. Direct train service between these two cities has been marked on the Indian Railways map as of today. This train will leave Godda at 1.15 p.m. and arrive in Ranchi at 5:00 a.m., passing through Hansdiha, Bhagalpur, Kiul, Jasidih, Dhanbad, and Bokaro. It will operate three times a week.

This is a critical area of development for the Godda district. This Godda-Ranchi train was inaugurated online by Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav. The train’s inauguration was attended by Godda MP Nishikant Dubey and Malda DRM Yatendra Kumar.

MP Nishikant Dubey on this occasion, said, “This is just the beginning of Godda’s development. With the initiative of the central government, Godda will soon be connected to Mumbai and other metro cities directly.”

For a long time, the residents of Godda had been waiting for this train. Because of the combined efforts of the Central Government and the Ministry of Railways,  they have received the sixth train as a present in a relatively short period of time. People’s travel now will not only be more accessible, but they will also be able to travel to Bhagalpur, Kiul, Dhanbad, and Ranchi without spending much money.
