Ranchi, Dec 12: Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Monday said that financial constraints will no longer come in the way of Tribals, Dalits and minorities who want to pursue higher education from abroad as the government will provide full expenses for higher education.

While addressing girl students at St. Patrick’s Cathedral Complex, Gumla, the CM added that the government is taking all appropriate steps for a better education.

“If you want to make a career in fields like medicine, engineering and law, then the government will help you. Apart from this, the government has started a scheme to provide financial assistance to the candidates preparing for examinations like UPSC, JPSC, Banking, Railway, and SSC. Along with this, the amount for scholarships has also been increased, so that the children belonging to Tribal, Dalit and minority classes are not isolated from studies,” the CM added

He added that there is a lot of potential in the youth but due to poverty, they are unable to move forward. To help the youth in coaching, the state government has come up with the Eklavya Training Scheme.

#खतियानी_जोहार_यात्रा pic.twitter.com/o8cGsSn2eK

“Today the government is also sending the youth of the deprived society abroad to study. You study and move ahead, the government is with you,” the CM said.

Furthermore, he also said that the previous government had brought in 14 per cent reservation for OBC in 1985 whereas his government has helped the OBC class to get a reservation of 27 per cent due to which the opposition is not happy.

#खतियानी_जोहार_यात्रा pic.twitter.com/RUsaECgDII
