Gyanvapi mosque: Varanasi court upholds maintainability of Hindu side’s petition

New Delhi, Sept 12: A single bench of district Judge AK Vishvesh delivering the verdict in the Gyanvapi Shrinagar Gauri dispute case on Monday holds case is maintainable.

The court rejected the Muslim parties’ argument that the argument could not be maintained. The court ruled that the Hindu parties’ lawsuit was maintainable. The matter will be heard by the court on September 22.

“The court rejected the Muslim side’s petition and said the suit is maintainable. The next hearing of the case is on Sep 22,” said Advocate Vishnu Shankar Jain, representing the Hindu side.
